Curly Fine Hair
When dealing with fine hair that tends to be limp with a lazy curl/wave, you need to use products that encourage curls.
This hair is best if dried as you need to use product and heat styling to achieve more curls.
After washing, start with using Redken Ringlet (light cream), Redken Soft Spin (light gel) or Redken Spring Mouse (conditioning mouse), then spread the product evenly through the hair and twist it in sections. It should be fairly damp. Now diffuse. Touch your hair as little as possible when drying it, otherwise you will shatter the curls. When you get the hair slightly damp, spritz it with Redken Curl Boost or Redken Spray Starch. Hair dryer should be on a high heat, but slow speed throughout the blow dry.
Fine hair with tighter curls
This hair tends to look frizzy because of the light weight nature of the hair. Less work is usually needed to this type of hair.
Wash as usual, towel dry it and use Redken Anti-frizz Shiner. This product is more a conditioner, so will help refining curl. You can also use Redken Spring Mouse. This is not a sticky mouse, it is light, it conditions, helps define curl, lessens frizz and will not dry crispy.
You can dry this hair or leave it to dry naturally. Usually drying tends to increase the curls.
