Curly vs Straight

The difference between STRAIGHT and CURLY hair is the shape of the hair follicle.
Straight hair has a round follicle and curly hair has an oval follicle. The different shapes define how your hair is going to grow.

Fuller, thicker hair equals a more youthful look, so cheat your way to younger looking hair by adding volume. Flip your parting over to the opposite side that you normally wear your hair for an instantly fuller look.

Glossy, healthy hair signals wellness and youth, but it’s easy to over do the shine spray and end up with lank, greasy looking locks. Instead, spritz a little shine spray such as Redken Vinyl Glam 02 onto a large kabuki make-up brush and brush this over the hair, lightly from root to tip.

For an extra boost of volume spray dry shampoo onto a vent brush and then use to back comb your hair at the roots. If you add height to the crown by back combing hair at the front you will elongate the face which will sharpen up your jaw line and bone structure.

A carefree approach to hair styling signals youth and freedom, so tweak your style carefully so it doesn’t look too staid and grown up. For example, a low and loosely tied ponytail or a choppy, sexy fringe are both instant de-agers.
