Grey Hair

Hair turns grey when the follicle ceases to produce melanin (the protein that gives our hair its natural colour). This can happen at any age from childhood through middle age and some people may never get any greys to speak of. Once it starts it can happen almost over night or never get any more apparent - it all depends on the individual.

Any colour can work but always bear in mind your skin tone and level of commitment you are willing to give to maintaining your colour as white roots on a blue black bob are a dead give away!!!

White hair is notoriously difficult to colour so best left to the professionals. Luckily, REDKEN have just introduced a range of advanced performance colour cremes called Cover Fusion which eradicates the usual hurdles grey hair throws at us such as dense, unnatural looking colour, thus making our clients even happier!
